Great practice last week!  More than anything, it was nice to just be able to be outside again and it looked like nobody's skills atrophied too much over the winter - especially once we started scrimmaging and quit thinking too much.  Same time, same place this week - the Wizard's facility at Swope Park (63rd and Lewis) at 1 PM, Sunday.

The format will be very similar this week.  A nice warmup to try and keep us from pulling some old man (or old lady) muscle then working again on lifts, solos, and hand passing.  We'll add in some long passing as well.  We're going to focus on these for the first two months.  We all know the basic mechanics by now, but it's time to start focusing on consistency - making these fundamental skills repeatable.

We'll take a brief break for Chad to cover his rule of the week and then move on into scrimmage again.

Of course, it looks like the Katie Horners of the world are prepping for snowmageddon once again so we'll be keeping a close eye on how all that develops over the next few days.  Training is on for now though!
